Like Hubble, Laika comes from Kelim Siberians. Her lines are close to the others—for example, her Grandfather is Denali's brother.
Laika was a smart pup. She was quick to be house-trained and crate-trained. She mastered walking on the leash within a few minutes.
Though she’s pretty submissive, she’s holds her own among the other dogs. Her only quirk is her fear of strangers. I’ve never had a dog that was this timid with people, and it can be difficult to see her cower and hide any time I have guests over.
Laika seems to forget her fear when she’s hooked up and ready to run. She ran in lead with Willow for a season, but ultimately seems happier running in team. While she isn’t the best at managing the gangline (she’s somehow always on the wrong side), she does have a lovely trot and keeps pace without exhausting herself.
